Meet the people behind the Quantum Clinic

For over 40 years, this clinic has been exclusively focused on chiropractic care and muscle therapy, helping our patients with relief from their pain and ailments. But in some cases, there was a deeper problem, and this is where the brain and nervous system come into play. It became clear to us that many of our patients were suffering from neurological imbalances that were causing their physical symptoms.

In 2019, we decided to transform our practice into a neurological rehabilitation center with a focus on late effects of whiplash and concussion. We wanted to take a more holistic approach to our patients' health and wellbeing, treating not just their physical symptoms, but the root cause of their problems.

Through our new focus on neurology, we are able to better understand the complex interplay between the brain, nervous system and the rest of the body. Our team of experts use advanced techniques and technology to diagnose and treat a range of neurological problems, from chronic pain and migraines to concussions and dizziness.
We believe that everyone has the potential to heal and recover, no matter how complex their condition may seem. We work closely with each patient to create a personalized treatment plan that takes into account their unique needs and goals, helping them regain control of their health and vitality.

We are proud to have transformed our practice into a neurological rehabilitation center, and we are dedicated to continuing to provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

Haakon trained as a chiropractor at Life University in Atlanta, USA. He also has postgraduate training in functional neurology at the Carrick Institute, and has previously worked with Dr. Glen Zielinski in Portland, at Northwest Functional Neurology.

During his stay with Dr. Zielinski, he gained extensive experience and treated complex neurological patients and several top athletes.

His interest in chiropractic and neurology arose after many years of extreme sports where he saw friends lose their talent and careers after repeated head injuries. This sparked his interest in learning about the brain and how it controls nerve, muscle and skeletal disorders.

Haakon has published two research reports in Frontiers Neuroscience Journal (2015 and 2018), showing positive results with neurological rehabilitation in stroke and post-concussion patients.
